A REPORT, detailing the work and achievements of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Essex, 2015/16 has been published.
This Annual Report sets out the progress that has been made in the year ended 31 March
2016 in meeting the priorities in the Essex Police and Crime Plan for 2013 to 2016. Nick
Alston held office as the Police and Crime for Essex during this period.
On the 5 May 2016 the newly elected Police and Crime Commissioner, Roger Hirst, took
office. On the 22 November 2016 a new Essex Police and Crime Plan was launched that
will cover the period 2016 to 2020.
The publication also examines how the PCC, supported by his staff, has: ensured progress against his eight key areas of focus (as outlined in his Police and Crime Plan); financially supported community safety projects; and continued to prioritise and support victims of crime through various projects.
There are two downloads available for the Annual Report. One is a printable version and the other is to read online.
